Maritim Byvandring is an digital assistant allowing you to embark on historical trips with a maritime theme in Bergen. The app is tailored for school trips, adults, and tourists who are interested in seafaring history of Bergen. You may choose a maritime route and use GPS-positioning to guide you through all the points of interests. These points of interests entails buildings, vessels or places of historical maritime value. The app estimates the time between points of interest and will display additional information about the place when within 20 meters. Each post contains images and information supplied by Bergen Sjøfartsmuseum. A route can be reversed and shared with your friends on Facebook. The app is developed by Capgemini Norway in collaboration with Bergen Sjøfartsmuseum, Maritimt Forum Bergen and VilVite.
